If we are your regular General Practice, you might want to consider registering for MyMedicare.
MyMedicare is a free government service for all Australians with Medicare and DVA cards that allows you to formally nominate a preferred GP. By registering as a patient of your chosen GP, additional funding will be available from the government to assist your primary care team to deliver the care you need. This includes:
- Medicare rebates on longer (30 minute) telephone and video consults
- Increased incentives for minors and concession-card-holders to be bulk-billed
- Connections to more appropriate care for frequent hospital-goers.
The easiest way to register for MyMedicare is via your Medicare Online account or the Express Plus Medicare app. Alternatively you can ask a member of our admin team to hand you a paper form to complete at the practice.
